Welcome to the Kern Medical Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program. We are one of the oldest OB-GYN Residency Programs in the United States, with over seven decades of service dedicated to women’s health care.
The Kern Medical OB-GYN residency program provides training for residents through a mixture of clinical education, didactics materials, and a wide variety of gynecological and surgical procedures. We are affiliated with the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Graduates from our program will be able to fulfill their career goals, whether in clinical practice, academic medicine, research or sub-specialties.
The Faculty at Kern Medical are committed to the highest standards of education in Obstetrics and Gynecology. We pride ourselves on graduating residents who excel in all aspects of Women’s Health Care.
Residents are the heart of the Kern Medical OB-GYN department. We provide a working and educational environment that is built on inclusivity, unity, humility, respect and dignity. Diversity and collaboration is our source of strength. We appreciate the contributions of each individual’s identity, culture and experience. We are humbled at the opportunity to train the next generation of women’s healthcare providers.
