About Dr. Klang
Dr. Klang is an Internist at Kern Medical.
Prior to Kern Medical, he was the Chief Physician and Surgeon at California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in Wasco. There, he supervised 12 primary care providers, developed and implemented new policies, coordinated provision to care to patients in multiple outpatient settings, and was a member of the statewide Death Review Committee. He also served as a Hospitalist at different medical groups including Premier Hospitalists, Medical Associations of Bakersfield, and San Joaquin Valley Pulmonary Medical Group. While doing that he got experience providing inpatient care for acute and critically ill patients in local hospitals, admitted and discharged patients and coordinated post hospital care, and provided cost effective and expeditious treatment. He worked as an Internist for Highgrove Medical Center where he provided outpatient primary care, provided inpatient care to the group’s hospitalized patients, and managed staff, personnel, and operational issues.
Dr. Klang received his Doctor of Medicine from American University of the Caribbean. He completed his internship and residency at Kern Medical. In his free-time, he enjoys running, music, cooking, photography, and travel.
