About Dr. Bazmi
Dr. Alaleh Bazmi is an Internal Medicine Physician at Kern Medical. She completed Medical School in Hungary and at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at Penn State Medical School. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Kern Medical, affiliated with UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, a residency in Surgery at Kern Medical, affiliated with UC-San Diego, and a residency in Internal Medicine at Tehran University Medical Center in Iran.
Dr. Bazmi volunteered in the Hemodialysis Center and in the Hematology and Oncology Center at Tehran University Medical Center. She has vast research experience, completing a year at Pecs University in the Department of Radiology, focusing on CT and MRI in benign primary bone tumors, 8 months as a research assistant at Kern Medical, and 9 months studying medical and surgical treatments of cavitary lunch lesions in Coccidiodomycosis.
She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and holds a California Physician and Surgeon License and a Controlled Substance Registration Certification. She was a member of the Hungarian Foreign Student Council at Pecs University and is a member of the American Academy of Physicians and the Resident Advisory Committee at Kern Medical. Dr. Bazmi received the Best Performance Award in Clinical Chemistry in 1993, and in 2004, received Outstanding Research Effort Recognition and the Solomon Scholar Research Award for Outstanding Original Research. She is fluent in English, Farsi, Azari and Hungarian.
