About Dr. Huynh

Dr. Quynh Huynh is board-certified in Internal Medicine and in Rheumatology. She specializes in Rheumatology and is skilled in treating a wide variety of rheumatic disorders including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, psoriatic arthritis, and other musculoskeletal and autoimmune diseases. She has experience in joint aspiration, joint, bursal, and tendon sheath injections and musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Dr. Huynh completed her medical degree at the University of Alabama, Birmingham School of Medicine where she was the recipient of the Medical Assurance Award for Excellence in Patient Communications. She finished her residency training at Physicians Medical Center – Carraway and Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. During her residency training, she contributed to a few publications in the topics of rheumatoid arthritis and vasculitis. She was one of the top winners for her presentation of her research project on Research Day at PMC-Carraway. After residency, she completed her rheumatology fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama in its Division of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology, which has consistently been recognized as one of the best clinical rheumatology program by the US News and World Report.

She is currently a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Medicine, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She also oversees the rheumatology infusion clinic at Kern Medical. She offers services in English, Vietnamese and Spanish.
