Dr. Kim is a board-certified Oncology & Hematology physician at Kern Medical.

Dr. Stanley Kim is an accomplished physician specializing in oncology and hematology. He has been appointed as Chief of division of hematology and medical oncology and Director of Sickle Cell Clinic. Before coming to Bakersfield, he was in private practice for the past 30 years. He was the founder and owner of the Stanley Kim Clinic for Blood Disease and Cancer in Claremont, CA. He was an active medical staff at San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland where he served as the chairman of the cancer committee, chairman of the department of medicine, and president of the medical staff.

He also has provided care across various esteemed institutions, including Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health in New Hampshire, Abott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, and Queens's Health System in Hawaii among others.

Dr. Kim earned his medical degree from Pusan National University in South Korea and completed his hematology fellowship training at Harbor-UCLA and Medical Oncology at USC/Keck School of Medicine. Board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology, Dr. Kim has held several significant professional and academic appointments, including Clinical Assistant Professor at Keck School of Medicine and numerous leadership positions at San Antonio Regional Hospital. A prolific lecturer and author, Dr. Kim has contributed extensively to medical literature and educational content. He created his own YouTube channel featuring about 70 medical lectures in the field of hematology and oncology. His commitment to patient care and medical education continues to impact the field significantly.
