Kern Medical Opens New 34th Street Location for REACH and GROW Clinics

Kern Medical is celebrating the opening of its new 34th Street location with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 30, 2017. The new location will be home to Kern Medical’s REACH and GROW Clinics.
Kern Medical partnered with Kern Health Systems to launch the REACH Clinic in January 2015. The clinic is a patient-centered medical home serving as a one-stop shop for medically fragile patients. The REACH Clinic provides patients with access to a pharmacist, doctor, nurse, social worker and other services in order to give comprehensive health care. The new GROW Clinic launched in March 2017 in partnership with Kern Health Systems and Kern Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (previously known as Kern County Mental Health) to provide team-based medical and behavioral health care to patients with the greatest need.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will host speakers from Kern Medical, Kern Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, and Kern Health Systems.
