About Dr. Mrad

Dr. Yasser Ratl Mrad is a board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist who sees patients at Kern Medical. He also is an Ob/Gyn physician at Golden Valley Health Center and Mercy Medical Hospital. His services include performing vaginal and cesarean deliveries and performing gynecologic surgeries including abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries, and hysteroscopy including hysteroscopic sterilization.

Dr. Mrad received his medical degree from Damascus University, where he graduated with honors. He also earned his Masters Degree in Radiology. He completed his residency at Kern Medical in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Mrad is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. He was recognized as Adjunt Assistant Professor of Ob/Gyn at Touro University California in 2012, and Assistant Clinical Professor at School of Medicine University of Davis. During his studies, he also received the Resident of the Year Award, Chief Resident Award, and Best Surgeon Award.

Dr. Mrad is fluent in English and Arabic. In his free-time, he enjoys reading, basketball, and classic muscle cars.
